Here is a session that, again, reminds me of how lucky I am to have my job. Meet little Braylon. I really shouldn’t say “little.” He is a sweet, active boy. A big 3 year old!
Braylon’s mom and dad really trusted me with their session. They had some ideas, but said I could choose locations and give suggestions. I am honored when people give me total trust over their session. They let me choose the time to maximize the light and temperature. They let me be creative, and it paid off.
To help Braylon relax a little and get into the sitting, we started on the bed. Mom brought all of his Dino themed bedding, as well as a stuffed animal and his favorite Dino book.
Braylon thought my “bed in the woods” was pretty cool, so he was into this.
After the bed, we went for some baseball with Dad. Aren’t these going to be great memories for Braylon when he is grown? He will have something to look back on and remind him that he had an involved and caring Dad. That is a lucky boy!
Then we went down the street to another location where Braylon could just play and have fun.
This is where Braylon worked Mom into the shoot. He found some flowers that he wanted to share with her!
This shoot took place during a super-hot week. We shot early in the morning, but by this point, it was getting very hot and sticky. So we called it a day, and the family met me later for a few minutes to get their family shots in.
This was a very fun shoot for me and a great example of how to get the most out of your session. We can go several places, change clothing, and have a lot of fun. Braylon may have not even noticed we were taking pictures. He had fun on the bed, played some baseball, hugged his pup and the people he loves. Great, great shoot.
