I heart etsy | jill heupel photography

So, I have an addiction.  I love etsy.  I can browse through treasury after beautiful treasury of hand-crafted, home-made products.  I can get lost in the textures, the colors, the great ideas that the artists have.  If I had tons of money and no student loan payments left, I would be in etsy heaven!  I have had the fortune of photographing products for some etsians as well as local businesses.  Here are a bunch of examples.  Be sure to check out websites and stores for these great sellers.

These are made-from-scratch cakes from Tracy at Sweet Pea Cakes.  If you think it up, she can create it.  Wedding cakes, birthdays, kid’s cakes.  And they taste ah-mazing…  If you come over to celebrate at the Heupel home, you are likely to get to sample a Sweet Pea Cake.

And here is a freedom gate from Donna at Freedom Gates.  These gates are stylish, livable, and so cool.  Donna won the Next Big Thing award in 2009.

Here are some fingerless gloves from an etsian.  You can visit her shop, gknits.  You will see that she has come up with many new creations, since I photographed for her.  If you look in her sold items, it should be clear the three sets of gloves I photographed, and how well professional photographs have helped to get her products noticed.  The gloves I shot for her even made it to the front page of www.etsy.com.

We are also into clothe napkins around here.  Truth be told, we are a messy bunch.  One step towards less waste has been to switch to all clothe napkins.  I found Missy at Betsygrace on etsy.  Her napkins are beautiful, fun, and sturdy.  They are nice enough to have out for Christmas dinner, but still great for every day use.  My favorites are the manner’s set, which feature 6 different sayings.  So cute!  The second picture is one of her table runners.

I will close this post with some photos I have done for Dierbergs. Dierbergs is a great market for groceries and organic food.  They also support local farmers, which I love.  I have photographed some of the in-store signage, videos, and featured products for the “Fresh this Week” newsletters.

And now I think I am going to need to stop working to go get some Blueberry Gooey Butter Cake from Dierbergs…
