It started out as a standard senior session. It is hard for me to call a session “standard” because I really try to bring something new and creative to every sitting I do. However, I thought I knew what I was getting into with this guy. I was oh so mistaken.
So for this session, we went to the great city of Alton. Alton is such a city of variety. From train cars, to beaches and alleys to bluffs, there is so much to offer. Alton is Josh’s place. He knows it and lives it, so it was a natural setting for his senior portraits.
Josh brought his Mom and a buddy along for the shoot.
So we went down by the river…
Found a cool alley…
Then, something happened in the background. Enter said friend.
Um… Went back to shooting his portraits. What a nice looking kid, yeah?
And then, it happened again.
But it sure got Josh smiling!
We went to one more place. I love this blue building and actually had a {very cool} bride and groom let me take them here after their wedding. They are my kind of people.
And then, again.
Said friend really only made it in four photos that day. These two were having fun together, and it was contagious. I was in for the fun shots and am glad that Josh thought to bring Bodie along for comic relief. Thanks Josh and Bodie!
