I love my pups. I have two of them and can’t imagine a day in my life without four legged friends. Turning my cat-loving husband into a dog person took exactly 30 days of marriage.
I also love etsy. My favorite possessions in my house are etsy purchases and I love to work with these creative people.
This leads me to a contest that combines pups and etsy. What could be better?

How to win package 1 –
Prize package 1 will be given out through a random drawing. Simply leave a comment on this blog post about which prize product you are wanting the most and why.
For an additional vote, blog or facebook this contest, and then come back here and leave a message (and link) that you did so.
For a third vote, become a fan of the contributors and then come back and leave a comment that you did so here. Yes, we will be checking to see that the winner has fanned all pages. Be sure to leave them a little JHP love!

Entries will be cut off at 10PM (Yes, I go to bed at a decent time. Usually.) Central time on January 19th. Winner announced the next morning.
How to win package 2 –
To enter package 2, email me a photo of your pup. Try to make it a fun and creative shot. The photos will be uploaded to an album on my fan page. The photo with the most votes by 10pm, Central time, January 19th, will be the winner! Your friends and family can vote for your photo by “liking” the photo. I will try to load new photos once a day, as they come in. Because of how facebook is set up, a voter must be a fan of my page in order to comment or “like” a photo. No professional photos are permitted. Only one photo per participant.
Fine print –
*If you are related to me by blood, marriage or adoption, you may not enter this contest.
*Only a local participant can win the photography sitting. If the 2 winners are not local, another number will be drawn and this prize (just the photography sitting) will be given to the next person. This will continue until a local winner can be awarded the photography sitting. Sitting must take place in Edwardsville. Photography sittings must be scheduled before June 1st, 2011. The photography sitting must be pet related, but people are welcome to join in.
*Prizes can only be sent to winning participants in the United States or Canada.
*Etsy winnings will be shipped to the winners by each individual etsy business. It is the winner’s responsibility to contact the etsy shops and make arrangements within one month of the winner being announced.
*Only a local participant will win the Sit.Stay.Play weekend of dog sitting. Participants must live within a 5 mile radius of downtown Edwardsville Illinois in order to win the gift from Sit.Stay.Play. If the winner of the Sit.Stay.Play 3 days of dog sitting is not within 5 miles of downtown Edwardsville, another winner will be drawn for JUST the Sit.Stay.Play certificate.
